Family Medicine Physician Emily Lawrence, MD, recently joined Stellis Health – Buffalo Clinic. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Lawrence back to our medical staff and community,” says Brent Wilde, CEO of Stellis Health. “She is already a familiar face here as she spent nine months in training through the Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) and loved our clinic and community so much she wanted to return.”

Katie Alvarez, PA-C Now Provides Family Medicine Care
Physician Assistant Katie Alvarez, PA-C, recently shifted her practice from Urgent Care to providing family medicine care at Stellis Health – Albertville-St. Michael Clinic. “We’re excited to have Katie join the Stellis Health-Albertville Clinic team full-time to support the growing needs of community members in and around the Albertville-St. Michael community,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health.

Stellis Health Frontline Workers Receive COVID-19 Vaccination
Frontline workers at Stellis Health are now getting the vaccine protection they need against COVID-19. “We’re vaccinating frontline caregivers with the highest risk of being exposed to COVID-19 first so they can continue to provide critical care to others who may be infected with COVID-19,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, Chief Executive Officer of Stellis Health. Stellis Health family medicine physician Natalie Roeser, MD; pediatrician Matt Hoffman, MD; and OB/GYN Amanda Zehrer, MD, were among the first to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations.
Stellis Health is working with the Minnesota Department of Health to assist in rolling out vaccine protection to all clinic staff and the public in the coming weeks.

Amanda Zehrer, MD Joins Women’s Health Team at Stellis Health
Amanda Zehrer, MD, recently joined the women’s health team at Stellis Health. As an OB/GYN specialist, Dr. Zehrer cares for women throughout their pregnancy from planning to delivery and postpartum care. Her GYN practice includes annual wellness visits, incontinence care, menstrual issues, hysterectomy and ablation surgeries and much more. “We’re excited to have Dr. Zehrer join our medical staff and community,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health. “From prenatal care and preventative health to managing acute and chronic illness, Dr. Zehrer cares for women of all ages, in both sickness and health.”

Stellis Health Named Clinical Site of the Year
Bethel University recently named Stellis Health the Clinical Site of the Year, an annual award given to a clinic or health care organization that best exemplifies a long-term and enthusiastic commitment to the education of Bethel University Physician Assistant (PA) students. “Stellis Health providers have been very generous with their time, energy and expertise mentoring and precepting many of our students in family medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, and orthopedics since our program began in 2013,” says Dan Leafblad, MD, Medical Director of the Bethel Physician Assistant Program.

Pediatrician Kate Schroter, MD Now at Stellis Health
Kate Schroter, MD, recently joined Stellis Health. As a pediatrician, Dr. Schroter is dedicated to the health and well-being of all children. “We’re excited to welcome to Dr. Schroter to our medical staff and community,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health. “She cares for the physical, mental, and social health of all infants, children and adolescents at our Albertville-St. Michael location.”

New Pediatrician, Jacquelyn Harman, DO, now at Stellis Health
Jacquelyn Harman, DO, recently joined Stellis Health – Monticello Clinic. As a pediatrician, Dr. Harman specializes in the health and medical care of infants, children and adolescents from birth to age 18. “We’re very pleased to have Dr. Harman join our medical staff and community,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health. “From preventative health to managing acute and chronic illness, Dr. Harman cares for children at every stage of development, in both sickness and health.”
“I believe taking care of a child is a collaboration between the pediatrician, parents and the child to find a plan that is individualized for the child and the family,” says Dr. Harman. “Parenting is a very difficult and rewarding journey. A pediatrician’s job is to help you throughout that journey. I take the time to listen to every concern, no matter how big or small.”
