Jaci Tourtellott, PA-C

Family Medicine

“I aim to provide high-quality evidence-based medicine and informed patient care along with showing deep compassion and empathy. Often, we are meeting people in a vulnerable and scary place, those feelings and emotions are never lost on me. It is a privilege to get to do my job every day and I look forward to providing my patients with great care. I hope they leave feeling even an ounce better than when they came in.”

What brought you to the area?

I grew up in a small town in south central Minnesota so I knew I wanted to find a smaller community outside of the metro to practice after spending the last few years in St. Paul for PA school. I was familiar with the Buffalo-Monticello area but meeting the people at Stellis Health is ultimately what sold me.

Do you have any special areas of interest in medicine?

Preventative medicine and women’s health

What would you like your patients to know about your approach to patient care?

I truly believe in patient-centered care. My role is to be a resource and guide for my patients, we must work together to create a practical and attainable plan that will them achieve their goals and maintain their health.

What can patients expect when they meet/see you in the exam room?

Knowledge is power, so along with performing a comprehensive history and physical examination, I also set aside time to provide patient education and answer questions.
