Essential Responsibilities:

  • Rooms patients and assists with patient transportation needs.
  • Records patient medical history.
  • Vital signs, injections and immunizations, and specimen collections.
  • Assists with office procedures.
  • Assists with coordination of patient flow and scheduling.
  • Works with providers, nurses and patients to resolve questions related to medications, health education and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
  • Records and maintains documentation of patient and physician communications.
  • Retrieves phone messages and responds to patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Submits new prescription and refill requests as needed.
  • Updates patient charts and transcribes information into EMR.
  • Administers prescribed medications as needed.
  • Maintains exam rooms for supplies and materials.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Current Medical Assistant degree or  Minnesota LPN license.
  • Medical Assistants must have CMA or RMA credential.
  • New Medical Assistant graduates must pass board/certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience with Epic preferred

Stellis Health is seeking a full-time Insurance/Billing Specialist to join our practice.

The Insurance Specialist will work as part of the Business Office team and be responsible for the timely and accurate billing of patient accounts.

Duties will include; claims submission, verifying insurance coverage, billing and collecting accounts receivable, posting payments, data entry, working denials, customer service, and correspondence/communication with patients and payers.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1-3 years of medical business office experience, strong math aptitude, knowledge of medical terminology/coding, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality are required.

Stellis Health is hiring a weekend Radiologic Technologist at our Monticello location. Schedule will be Saturday/Sunday 8a-4p.  One weekend per month minimum required.  Option to work every other weekend.

Duties include: prepares patients for radiologic procedures, performs general radiology exams using DR technology, following established procedures for patient care and safety, logs completed procedures, processes radiologic images, and maintains and stocks examination rooms.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program and ARRT and RTR certifications are required. Must have current DR, RIS, and PACS experience and up-to-date continuing education credits. Experience with pediatric, geriatric, trauma, orthopedic, and podiatry patients required. Ability to work alone and lift over 50 lbs. needed.

Stellis Health, P.A. is hiring a part-time (25-29 hours/week) Medical Lab Technician position. This position will include days, evenings, and a Saturday morning rotation every 8 weeks. Shifts may be scheduled at Buffalo, Monticello and Albertville locations.

Duties include: collect patient specimens, perform routine medical laboratory tests, perform required quality control and calibration, maintain equipment, utilize EMR and LIS to perform tests and report results.

Qualifications: MLT with previous lab and phlebotomy experience required.

Duties include: Greeting patients, collecting patient demographic information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments and co-pays, scheduling patient appointments, and providing switchboard coverage.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Key responsibilities:
• Oversees Accounts Payables.
• Manages corporate Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree & minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting environment are required. Medical/Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience with Great Plains and ADP a plus.

Summary:

The CFO will serve as the financial leader of the organization reporting directly to the CEO. The CFO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of financial operations including; accounting, revenue cycle, payroll functions, and administration of the 401K plan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develops annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Analyzes, prepares and presents financial statements to owners and management.
  • Monitors departmental budget performance and internal controls.
  • Manages cost analysis and makes recommendations to ensure appropriate income and cash flow.
  • Chairs the Finance Committee.
  • Negotiates payer contracts and relationships.
  • Ensures compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements, including tax reports.
  • Develops and implements financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversees reimbursement, patient accounting, and general accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, claims processing, payroll and physician/provider compensation.
  • Administers the group 401K plan.
  • Manages and oversees the daily operations of Medical Business Office, payroll, and accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of fiscal management experience in healthcare required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with Great Plains, ADP, and EPIC strongly preferred
