Essential Responsibilities:

  • Rooms patients and assists with patient transportation needs.
  • Records patient medical history.
  • Vital signs, injections and immunizations, and specimen collections.
  • Assists with office procedures.
  • Assists with coordination of patient flow and scheduling.
  • Works with providers, nurses and patients to resolve questions related to medications, health education and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
  • Records and maintains documentation of patient and physician communications.
  • Retrieves phone messages and responds to patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Submits new prescription and refill requests as needed.
  • Updates patient charts and transcribes information into EMR.
  • Administers prescribed medications as needed.
  • Maintains exam rooms for supplies and materials.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Current Medical Assistant degree or  Minnesota LPN license.
  • Medical Assistants must have CMA or RMA credential.
  • New Medical Assistant graduates must pass board/certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience with Epic preferred

Full-Time:  Primarily day shifts with an evening and weekend rotation.

Duties include: Greeting patients, collecting patient demographic information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments and co-pays, scheduling patient appointments, and providing switchboard coverage.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Experience with EPIC and knowledge of medical terminology and insurance strongly preferred.

This position will include days, evenings, and a Saturday morning rotation every 8 weeks.  Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends. Stellis Health is hiring a full-time (32+ hours/week) OR part-time (25-29 hours/week) Radiologic Technologist. Mammography RTR(M) preferred. Schedule will include day and evening shifts, along with weekend/holiday rotations. May work between Buffalo, Monticello and Albertville clinic sites. Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends.

We are also hiring RT(R) or LXMO WEEKEND ONLY general imaging positions for our Buffalo and Monticello locations. Shift differential offered.

Duties include: prepare patients for radiologic procedures, perform digital mammography (2D or 3D) and x-rays (DR) following established procedures for patient care and safety, log completed procedures, process radiologic images, and maintain examination rooms.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program and ARRT. RT(R) or RTR(M) certifications or LXMO are required. Mammography experience with (DR) and up-to-date continuing education credits preferred. Experience with DR and PACS required. Ability to work alone and lift over 50 pounds needed.

The HIM Specialist performs all facets of electronic medical record keeping in Epic to support the delivery of high quality patient care. Maintains the accuracy of patient charts and follows provider workflow requirements. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties: Scanning, importing, and indexing patient encounter information, retrieval and indexing of paper chart documents, monitoring fax queues for medical records requests, answering phones, distribution of patient prescription and insurance requests, and release of information (ROI) duties.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1 year of medical office experience preferred, but not required, current knowledge of HIPAA regulations, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality are required. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus. Epic experience preferred.

The Patient Access Manager is responsible for the operations of the Patient Registration/Scheduling and Health Information Management (HIM) departments for Stellis Health.  The Patient Access Manager ensures effective and efficient processes that support the delivery of excellent patient care. 

Primary responsibilities include the management of personnel; including staffing, recruitment, performance reviews, training, and employee relations.  Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, third-party payers, and HIPAA.  Collaborates with other departments and actively participates in the organization’s committee structures and quality patient care initiatives. 

Qualifications:  High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimum of 3 years with direct staff supervision in healthcare setting preferred.  Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.  Strong business acumen, leadership, and communication skills are essential.

Stellis Health is seeking an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Optimization Specialist to join our practice. 

The EMR Optimization Specialist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of EMR process improvement activities to maximize overall clinic efficiencies and streamline workflows.  The EMR Optimization Specialist will function as an Epic Super User and work closely with internal and external IT operations, serving as the main liaison and point person for EPIC EMR operations at Stellis Health.
Duties include:  Coordinates all clinical EMR operations for physicians, providers, and employees and functions as the Epic Super User for Stellis Health.  Participates in downtime, communication, and recovery process planning for application environments, logs and monitors help desk tickets related to EMR operations, coordinates training and initial user access for new employees, participates in project planning and implementations, and supports the organization’s quality tracking and measurement initiatives.  

Qualifications:  Associate/Technical Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with EMR applications and clinical workflows is required.  Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.  Knowledge and experience with EPIC is preferred, but not required.  Strong communication and critical thinking skills are required as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask.
