We’re currently looking for new team members in these areas:

Stellis Health, PA is hiring full-time Medical Assistants and LPNs.  Positions are available in Primary Care Clinic and Urgent Care.  Day, evening, and weekend shifts available.  Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Rooms patients and assists with patient transportation needs.
  • Records patient medical history.
  • Vital signs, injections and immunizations, and specimen collections.
  • Assists with office procedures.
  • Assists with coordination of patient flow and scheduling.
  • Works with providers, nurses and patients to resolve questions related to medications, health education and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
  • Records and maintains documentation of patient and physician communications.
  • Retrieves phone messages and responds to patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Submits new prescription and refill requests as needed.
  • Updates patient charts and transcribes information into EMR.
  • Administers prescribed medications as needed.
  • Maintains exam rooms for supplies and materials.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Current Medical Assistant degree or  Minnesota LPN license.
  • Medical Assistants must have CMA or RMA credential.
  • New Medical Assistant graduates must pass board/certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience with Epic preferred

Stellis Health, P.A. is hiring full-time and part-time Patient Registration Specialists to work at our Buffalo and Monticello locations. 

Full-Time:  Primarily day shifts with an evening and weekend rotation. 

Part-Time: Primarily evenings and weekends.

Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends.

Duties include: Greeting patients, collecting patient demographic information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments and co-pays, scheduling patient appointments, and providing switchboard coverage.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Experience with EPIC and knowledge of medical terminology and insurance strongly preferred.

Stellis Health is hiring a full-time (32+ hours/week) OR part-time (25-29 hours/week) Radiologic Technologist. Mammography RTR(M) preferred. Schedule will include day and evening shifts, along with weekend/holiday rotations. May work between Buffalo, Monticello and Albertville clinic sites. Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends.

We are also hiring RT(R) or LXMO general imaging positions for our Buffalo and Monticello locations.

Duties include: prepare patients for radiologic procedures, perform digital mammography (2D or 3D) and x-rays (DR) following established procedures for patient care and safety, log completed procedures, process radiologic images, and maintain examination rooms.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program and ARRT. RT(R) or RTR(M) certifications or LXMO are required. Mammography experience with (DR) and up-to-date continuing education credits preferred. Experience with DR and PACS required. Ability to work alone and lift over 50 pounds needed.

Stellis Health is hiring a full-time Surgery Scheduler to join our practice.  The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the prior authorization and referral process for patient procedures performed at outside facilities. Ensures effective and efficient communication between providers, clinical staff, and patients.

Primary responsibilities include the accurate scheduling of inpatient and outpatient procedures and surgeries, administration of prior authorization and referral process to ensure maximum benefit coverage, provide basic patient education on surgical procedures, and collaboration with business office staff to ensure proper claim processing.  

Qualifications:  Three (3) years of healthcare business operations required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Working knowledge of insurance prior authorization process and basic understanding of medical terminology required. Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. Ability to plan, organize, and integrate priorities and deadlines. Elevated comfort with EMR systems, Epic preferred.

Stellis Health is hiring a full time (40 hours/week) Medical Records/Health Information Specialist at our Buffalo location. The HIM Specialist performs all facets of electronic medical record maintenance in Epic to support the delivery of high quality patient care.  Ensures the accuracy of patient charts and follows provider workflow requirements. 

 Primary Responsibilities: Scanning, importing, and indexing patient encounter information, retrieval and indexing of paper chart documents, monitoring fax queues for medical records requests, answering phones, distribution of patient prescription and insurance requests, and release of information (ROI) duties. 

 Qualifications:  High School diploma and one (1) year of medical office experience. Current knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and Epic EMR experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills required, as well as the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
