Essential Responsibilities:

  • Rooms patients and assists with patient transportation needs.
  • Records patient medical history.
  • Vital signs, injections and immunizations, and specimen collections.
  • Assists with office procedures.
  • Assists with coordination of patient flow and scheduling.
  • Works with providers, nurses and patients to resolve questions related to medications, health education and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
  • Records and maintains documentation of patient and physician communications.
  • Retrieves phone messages and responds to patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Submits new prescription and refill requests as needed.
  • Updates patient charts and transcribes information into EMR.
  • Administers prescribed medications as needed.
  • Maintains exam rooms for supplies and materials.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Current Medical Assistant degree or  Minnesota LPN license.
  • Medical Assistants must have CMA or RMA credential.
  • New Medical Assistant graduates must pass board/certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience with Epic preferred

Stellis Health, P.A. is hiring full-time and part-time Patient Registration Specialists to work at our Buffalo and Monticello locations.  Primarily day shifts with an evening and weekend rotation.  Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends.

Duties include: Greeting patients, collecting patient demographic information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments and co-pays, scheduling patient appointments, and providing switchboard coverage.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience, excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Experience with EPIC and knowledge of medical terminology and insurance strongly preferred.

Stellis Health has a part-time (24 hours/week) Credentialing Coordinator position available at our Buffalo Clinic location.  This position has the potential to increase to full-time hours. 

 Position Summary

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the credentialing process for Stellis Health physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Primary responsibility is to ensure that physicians and providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with health plans, hospitals, and patient care facilities. The Credentialing Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating medical student education and clinic rotations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
  • Reviews provider applications and documentation for accuracy.  Contacts applicants to resolve discrepancies and/or to obtain missing information or documentation to fulfill eligibility criteria.
  • Collects and analyzes verification information.
  • Validates discrepancies and ensures appropriate resolution/follow-up.
  • Performs hospital and health plan/third party payer credentialing and re-credentialing processes and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Reports on the status of processing applications to the appropriate persons.
  • Monitors and assures that providers maintain current licensure, DEA, board certification and other required certifications.
  • Tracks CME status for providers on an annual basis.
  • Serves as primary liaison between Stellis Health and medical school programs.
  • Coordinates information related to incoming medical students (applications, scheduling, training, orientation, credentialing, etc.).
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process and standards.
  • Ability to manage and organize work and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and draw inference from findings and prepare reports.
  • Working knowledge of clinical and hospital operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality. 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree
  • 2-5 years of medical credentialing experience
  • Experience with hospital and clinic credentialing 
  • Credentialing certification preferred

Stellis Health, P.A. is hiring a full-time Medical Lab Technician (MLT) OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) w/ current lab experience. This position will include days, evenings, and a Saturday morning rotation every 8 weeks.  Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends. Shifts may be scheduled at Buffalo, Monticello and Albertville locations.

Duties include: collect patient specimens, perform routine medical laboratory tests, perform required quality control and calibration, maintain equipment, utilize EMR and LIS to perform tests and report results.

Qualifications: Medical Lab Tech (MLT) OR Certified Medical Assistant degree w/current lab experience required.

Stellis Health is hiring a full-time (32+ hours/week) and part-time (25-29 hours/week) Radiologic Technologist. Schedule will include day shifts, along with evening and weekend rotations. Shift differential offered for evenings and weekends. May work between Buffalo, Monticello and Albertville clinic sites.

Duties include: prepare patients for radiologic procedures, perform digital mammography (2D or 3D) and x-rays (DR) following established procedures for patient care and safety, log completed procedures, process radiologic images, and maintain examination rooms.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program and ARRT and RTR certifications are required. RTR(M) preferred. Must have current mammography experience with (DR) and up-to-date continuing education credits. Experience with CR/DR and PACS required. Ability to work alone and lift over 50 pounds needed.
