[00:00:00] Teresa Devine: Hi, I’m Teresa Devine. I am a family medicine doctor at Stellis Health in the Monticello Clinic and provide care at the Monticello Hospital as well.

[00:00:16] Teresa Devine: Being a family medicine doctor, I provide full spectrum care. So I care for people all the way from birth to old age. And one of the things I really enjoy is taking care of moms and babies.

[00:00:27] Teresa Devine: So if someone were to become pregnant, I can see them throughout their whole pregnancy. I can be there to deliver their baby and then I can take care of the baby as well.

[00:00:36] Teresa Devine: My role during a woman’s pregnancy is to help guide them through the pregnancy to offer guidance and care and to work with them to come up with an individualized plan that will help them create the labor and delivery that they are hoping for.

[00:00:54] Teresa Devine: The patient, I think I want to always make sure to know that they have options and to talk to them [00:01:00] about the choices and just make sure that they’re making well-informed decisions and that we can work together.

[00:01:06] Teresa Devine: I think patients appreciate that they can see me throughout their whole pregnancy and that I will be there at their delivery as well. And I think that patients appreciate that I can get to know the whole family and that I can care for both mom and baby.

[00:01:20] Teresa Devine: I view my care philosophy and medicine as a partnership with patients that I’m there to help them know their options and make suggestions and to work together to create the best plan for them.

[00:01:32] Teresa Devine: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends outside of work. Having four young children, that definitely keeps me busy. So oftentimes doing things with them and the activities that they enjoy. I chose Monticello as a place to work for many reasons. I actually did some of my medical training in the area and fell in love with it.[00:02:00]
