Clinical lipidologists diagnose, manage, and treat disorders involving lipids, which include cholesterol and triglycerides. Lipidologists are physicians who come from a variety of backgrounds such as general internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, family practice, osteopathy, and obstetrics & gynecology. Dr. Fabian is a board-certified internist. She is also a board-certified lipidologist with advanced training and certification for the management of complex lipid disorders.
