Certified Physician Assistant Maura Romanshek, PA-C recently joined Stellis Health – Monticello Clinic. “We’re excited to welcome Maura to our community and medical staff,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health. “Her interests in women’s health and addiction medicine are a great addition to our medical team.”
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve members of the Monticello community and look forward to establishing caring, long-term relationships with patients and families,” says Maura. “I strive to empower patients to make informed decisions about their personal health goals through supportive and open communication.” With special interests in women’s health, infertility and addiction medicine, she looks forward to working with patients of all ages to help them achieve their highest quality of life.
Maura enjoys the sense of community a smaller city affords. She received her master’s of physician assistant studies from Bethel University and completed her bachelor’s of science in biochemistry at the University of Minnesota. Maura is certified in basic and advanced care life support.
In her free time, she is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking with her husband, young daughter and two dogs. Maura hopes to bring their daughter on future backpacking trips. She also enjoys traveling, exercising, hunting, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
