Family Medicine Physician Emily Lawrence, MD, recently joined Stellis Health – Buffalo Clinic. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Lawrence back to our medical staff and community,” says Brent Wilde, CEO of Stellis Health. “She is already a familiar face here as she spent nine months in training through the Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) and loved our clinic and community so much she wanted to return.”
“I’m thrilled to be coming back to Stellis Health to practice family medicine,” says Dr. Lawrence. “I felt so lucky to complete my RPAP training here and really wanted to return to build my practice. I enjoy working with patients to develop a personalized, holistic care plan that best meets their health needs and goals.” As a family medicine physician with special interests in preventative care, addiction medicine and women’s health, she can care for the entire family throughout their lifespan.
Dr. Emily Lawrence received her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth and completed her family medicine residency at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. Her bachelor’s degree in biology is from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Lawrence is also certified in advanced cardiac life support along with advanced life support in obstetrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, creating mosaics, baking, reading and hiking.
