CONGRATULATIONS Glenn Nemec, MD!! The University of Minnesota Medical School’s Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) recently awarded Dr. Nemec the Excellence in Teaching & Recognition of Service Award to recognize and salute his exemplary teaching and mentoring of the next generation of physicians. Thank you Dr. Nemec for all that you have done for medical students and Stellis Health!
RPAP is a nine-month, hands-on educational experience in which third-year medical students work with physicians and specialists in the clinic and hospital. Stellis Health has a long history of mentoring medical students by participating in RPAP as well as training other students to become Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and family medicine and pediatric residents. In fact, many of the current Stellis Health providers were students trained by Dr. Nemec at Stellis Health.
