New OB/GYN specialist now available at Stellis Health

Share

Lindsey Latteman, MD, recently joined Stellis Health as an OB/GYN specialist caring for women at all stages of life from adolescence and pregnancy through menopause. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Latteman to our team of OB/GYN providers,” says Douglas Hanson, MPA, CEO of Stellis Health, P.A. “She is another great provider choice for area women seeking quality obstetric and gynecological care.”

“I became an OB/GYN because I loved talking to my friends about their health, and believe that women should feel comfortable talking to their health care providers about anything,” says Dr. Latteman. “I want my patients to know my door is always open if they have any concerns about their health or their relationships.”

With a keen interest in reproductive justice, contraception and family planning, Dr. Latteman strives to help all her patients understand their bodies as much as possible. “I believe in working with patients to achieve their reproductive goals, whether that is through good contraception or through maximizing their health pre-conception for a healthy pregnancy,” continued Dr. Latteman.

She completed her residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and attended medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee which is where Dr. Latteman fell in love with the upper Midwest way of life. She completed her undergraduate degree in French and Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis.

“I had friends from Minnesota in medical school and at college, and they lived up to the reputation of ‘Minnesota nice!’ So I chose to practice at Stellis Health and live in a place where people are friendly, help their neighbors, and where community is important,” says Dr. Latteman.

On a personal note, Dr. Latteman loves living in Monticello but is a bit nervous about winter 😊. She also enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting, gardening, cooking as well as singing and dabbling with the ukulele.
